Its ok, I like the style of yours better. Dont care for the silver on the front, they did that to the Jetta also.
I think the new front-end design makes it look like a Toyota Corrolla... which is exactly what someone else thinks if you read the comments on the linked page.
It looks huge, they certainly lengthened it.

The Passat wagon Avant S4 is the illest wagon built. All auto mfgrs. should just accept it and get out of the wagon business.
